Hello

I am currently running R65 VPN gateways, remote users are connecting with Securemote.  I want to configure Officemode so as to use my internal DNS and remove public\private IP address conflict. To use Officemode I will need replace Securemote with SecureClient.  As all of my PCs have Cisco firewall installed I will not be using the SecureClient firewall capabilities. None of my gateways will have SecureClient Policy Server installed.  What I what to know before doing this is, is there licensing cost to using SecureClient even if it isn’t used as a firewall?

Regards
Chris

Hi,

You don't need to pay for SecureClient licenses if you only use office mode. You do need to reinstall SecureMote and install it as SecureClient, since only with a SecureClient installation you get the virtual network adapter on your client pc. Then configure office mode on the firewall and you should be OK.
