SSH
« on: March 28, 2011, 02:53:27 PM »

Hi All,

I am new to Checkpoint. I am from CISCO world so finding a little confusing in understanding it. I Have successfully installed R65 firewall and management server through GUI on VMWARE and also sucessfully installed security rules. How do i SSH to try CLI. My Firewall's IP is 10.0.0.1 and management server's is 10.0.0.20. I also have DMZ(20.0.0.0/24) and Outside(192.168.1.0/24)

Should i SSH into the firewall or the management server? Please help. Thanks.

Regards,

Jaleel

You can ssh to both normally if they are running secureplatform and the policy allows it.
