I encountered this problem after an upgrade on an IP380 cluster from R60 to R65:

A backup schedule was set including the Check Point configuration.

Steps performed:
- remove Check Point R60.
- upgrade IPSO.
- install Check Point R65.

In the backup settings in Voyager, you only see R65, however in /var/etc/backup_vars.sh, the R60 suite was still marked in the package directories. Simply remove it and save the file to get backups working again.

Hi Jurgen,

Actually the scheduled backup variables are kept in /var/etc/sched_backup_vars.sh, wheras the manual backup variables are indeed kept in /var/etc/backup_vars.sh .

Normally changing some properties of the manual/scheduled backup (e.g. what to include in the backup) should also regenerate this file...

Greetings,
Steven

However, even completely disabling the scheduled backup didn't help. Changing the options, disabling, applying and saving removed the cron job, but it left the R60 in the file, no matter what.
