Hi,

I installed recently a provider One R71 on red hat system. To manage the MDS, I installed the client Provider One and I import CMA from an old MDS platform.

This working well but I'm faced to a strange problem on the Client Provider One. In fact, I see my CMA's state switching permanently to Active/Stopped state. Whereas when I do a mdsstat on the server, all seems to be UP with no problem, no switching states.

So to find the problem, do you know if there is a log file that can help me on this issue ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Best regards

you can try to check the .elg files. They contain debugging information and can be found in the log directories (CPDIR/FWDIR/...).

Hi Juve,

Thank you for your feedback,

On the fwm and fwd.elg, I see this messages:

Unable to open '/dev/fw0': No such file or director

Do you know what is the /dev/fw0 ?

Thank you

that's no problem. Since it's a management server, there will never be a /dev/fw0, which is related to the enforcement module. I never understood why they keep putting that message in, it's been there for as long as I can remember.
